MENTORSHIP

United States: Mentorship, Leadership Opportunities, and Youth Development.

The EDIS mentorship program is dedicated to supporting students in the New York City area, primarily focusing on undergraduate college students. However, we also extend assistance to high school juniors and seniors who need guidance with college applications, understanding financial aspects, and those seeking trade and vocational certification programs. Our comprehensive program aims to connect students with experienced advisors who provide tailored academic support, financial guidance, and career advisement.

Through personalized mentorship, we aim to enhance students' networking skills, reinforce their strengths, and empower them to excel academically and professionally. Our ultimate goal is to assist students in gaining admission to accredited institutions and successfully earning a degree or certification.

To be eligible for the program, participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Enrollment in a high school, college, or equivalent program.

  • Submission of a personal statement of 200 words or more.

  • Providing a resume highlighting their experiences and achievements.

  • One professional and/or academic reference in the form of a letter of recommendation.
